Rich Product E. Coli Recall Includes Items Sold At Wegmans.

April 8, 2013

At the end of March, Rich Products of Buffalo issued a recall of a number of frozen food items because of concerns that they may be contaminated with the E. Coli bacteria.  As Western New York E. Coli attorneys, we want everyone to be aware that the recall was expanded last week to include other potentially dangerous products.  E. Coli poisoning can cause serious personal injury.  Its symptoms include stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.  It is particularly hazardous to children and the elderly.

Wegmans Supermarkets have confirmed that they carried two of the products that have been subject to recall:  Farm Rich Mini Pizza Slices and Farm Rich Mozzarella Bites.  If you purchased either of these items through Wegmans – or elsewhere – do not eat them.  Instead, dispose of them immediately.  Wegmans is issuing refunds to anyone who purchased these items from their stores.

If you or a family member has suffered E. Coli poisoning and you have any questions regarding your legal rights, our firm would be happy to answer them.  We can be reached at 716-400-000.
